this post honors the lives of black queer individu this post honors the lives of black queer individuals whose light was stolen by hate — stories too often erased or ignored. alongside their names, i’ve shared a poem from my heart — a reflection, a resistance, and a remembrance.

to be black and queer is to live at the crossroads of beauty and danger. let us say their names, hold space for their truths, and never stop fighting for justice, visibility and love.

a tribute to all of my ancestors & the black men that paved the way for me to express myself through fashion. thank you.

poetry, storytelling writing and spoken word have poetry, storytelling writing and spoken word have long been passions of mine, offering a powerful outlet for self-expression and a means to process the traumas I’ve endured. these forms of art have served as both healing and therapy. while I’ve shared much of my story, there is still more to tell, and I hope to continue doing so through this page, connecting with others who may find resonance in my words & art.

welcome to my creative outlet ✍🏾🎤
